From an early age, Julien has been passionate about visual arts and makeup. In 2009, he realized his dream, by starting the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy professional 10-month training in Paris. Quickly showing advanced technical skills, and fascinated by the universe of the House, Julien realizes many freelance missions after achieving his diploma: sales, demonstrations, and openings of retail outlets through all Europe. As confident with a nude makeup as with the most extreme artistic creations, he participates for MAKE UP FOR EVER to the world championship of body-painting, which he won in 2010.
From then, Julien will participate to the development of MAKE UP FOR EVER as a makeup artist consultant, initially at the Flagship Sephora of the Champs Elysées, then during the launch of the first public shop of the brand in Paris, at the 5 rue des Francs Bourgeois in the Marais. Lastly, Julien took an active part on the awaited arrival of MAKE UP FOR EVER in the United Kingdom in 2015. Humble and generous, considering like Dany Sanz, that makeup is a permanent training, Julien Rol became in 2016 the first Makeup Artist Ambassador of the brand for Europe.
