The Montfermeil Cultures & Creation Fashion Show, supported by LVMH, has become a must-attend event for fashion enthusiasts.
Established in 2005, the show aims to highlight and celebrate creativity and talent diversity. This year, six students from the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy had the chance to participate, and we are thrilled!
A CELEBRATION OF CREATIVITY AND DIVERSITY
The show is known for showcasing emerging talents and celebrating the cultural richness of the area. Each year, about 250 participants gather to present their creations. The event provides young designers with exceptional visibility, especially with LVMH's sponsorship, which opens doors to major fashion houses for these promising talents.
THE "GUERLAIN BEAUTY ENHANCEMENT" AWARD
The show also presents the "Guerlain Beauty Enhancement" Award, a prestigious prize given to one of the ten amateur makeup artists participating. The students from the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy decided to take on the challenge! They attended a Guerlain Masterclass at the Guerlain Academy to prepare for the show. On Saturday, May 24, they did the makeup for the models at the Cultures & Creation Fashion Show, applying the skills and expertise they gained during their training.
FUTURE PROSPECTS
The winner of the "Guerlain Beauty Enhancement" Award received products from the renowned brand and a day of immersion at the Champs-Élysées boutique. This prize offers young makeup artists an experience in the beauty industry early in their careers.
The Montfermeil Cultures & Creation Fashion Show provided a unique opportunity for MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy students. Initiatives like competing for the "Guerlain Beauty Enhancement" Award allow our students to have enriching experiences that enhance their professional journey. The MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy is always striving to open doors for its students by giving them access to exceptional platforms to showcase and promote their talent.
