REd Lips Tutorial
Learn how to create perfect and long lasting red lips.
On the occasion of Valentine's Day 2016, we invited the pretty blogger They Call Me Mellie at the Academy to teach her how to make perfect and long-lasting red lips with the make-up artist & alumn Lyana.
1 year later, we share this tutorial again for an iconic look.
Rule number 1: Moisturize your lips! You can even gum them slightly to eliminate the small skins and other cracks of winter.
Then we go to the makeup:
1. Set your lip contour with the MAKE UP FOR EVER lip liner #42 for a better fit
2. Blend and degrade the pencil inward
3. Apply the m402 Artist Rouge with the lip brush 300 for more precision
Last tip for a matte & long finish result:
1. Split a tissue and apply the handkerchief over your lips
2. Lightly apply the translucent hd powder with the mixer brush 242 over the handkerchief
You're ready to eat, drink, kiss ... Your red lips will not move!
