ACADEMY ADVANTAGES:

In this 100% immersive training, you will explore the behind-the-scenes of Cinema Makeup. Your days start with theoretical classes where you dive into the history of cinema and its visual codes. Script reading, scene breakdowns — experience the filming process as if you were there. Then, we get to the heart of the matter: transformation through makeup.
Whether period fiction or contemporary, you and your brush will create perfect illusions to enhance film characters. Afternoons? Full-on practice! You will sculpt, mold, and create your own prosthetics. This is where you will take your skills to the next level with special effects.
Creating realistic wounds, tattoo cover-ups, airbrush creations, fake scars... every detail makes a difference and is essential for bringing fictional characters to life. Practical workshops in collaboration with cinema makeup artists or inspiring Masterclasses with industry professionals like Jonathan Lévy, whom we had the pleasure of hosting in 2024, are part of this 3-month training program.
The Academy also has a unique atmosphere! The whole year will be punctuated by challenges, boot camps, and other contests to encourage you to create increasingly realistic and/or fantastic makeup.
