Students from the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy at the IFM Fashion Show

On June 24th, students from the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy participated in the end-of-year fashion show at the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM). Alongside professional makeup artists, they faced a significant challenge: applying makeup for over 160 looks in a vibrant and creative atmosphere.

AN UNFORGETTABLE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

The pace was intense: starting at 8 a.m., the students worked tirelessly on the models' makeup until the show began. Backstage, everything moved quickly: brushes, palettes, and touch-ups were handled at high speed. Every action needed to be precise and efficient. These "rush" periods, as they're called in the industry, require focus, precision, organization, and patience.

This partnership between IFM and the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy once again demonstrates their shared commitment to training, excellence, and innovation in the beauty industry.

Before the show, students also studied the makeup mood boards provided by IFM. Each creative universe imagined by the designers required faithful and coherent interpretation. This preparatory work, essential for the success of the event, allowed them to understand the artistic intentions of each collection and refine their techniques according to the desired effects.

Under the guidance of Anne-Sophie Le Gallo and Cathelyne Viriot, their supervising professors, the students demonstrated rigor, responsiveness, and impressive professional maturity. From natural makeup focusing on a nude complexion to bolder looks, they skillfully highlighted the IFM designers' creations with accuracy and creativity.
